Summary:Serve as a key member of the Lamination and Finishing Process Team! Our main goals are to increase throughput, reduce cost, and improve the processes and equipment for our employees to make achieving company goals easier. Essential Functions:
+ Completes time studies on current state processes
+ Continuous improvement projects
+ Coordinates with support groups to improve production quality, production efficiency, waste reduction, and cost improvements.
+ Develops, improves, and standardizes process conditions and procedures for departments by researching and documenting best practices.
+ Monitors progress to ensure desired results are obtained.
+ Coordinates trials to establish the machinability of materials and capabilities of equipment.
+ Ability to record and analyze data collected.
+ Maintains work areas and related equipment in a neat and orderly manner.
+ Performs other duties as assignedEducation and Experience Requirements:
+ At least one year of college and pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Packaging Science or related field or equivalent combination of education (polymer or packaging) and experience.
+ Enrolled in a certified college Engineering program.Skills, Abilities, and Competencies:

+ Able to develop good working relations with personnel, customers and suppliers.
+ Capable of conducting multifaceted project activities, working simultaneously with multiple segments of the organization, with the supervision of senior department personnel.
