Applicant apply online./ • Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience in retail banking, compliance, audit, operations or finance required. 2 years direct work experience in BSA risk area required. • Knowledge of financial products and services preferred. • Experience with SAR/CTR Filings with FinCEN preferred.SUMMARY: The BSA Analyst ensures compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activity including Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), Customer Identification Program (CIP), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), subpoena response and U.S. Patriot Act requirements by investigating, analyzing and decisioning BSA-related cases, reports and alerts. Responsibilities include but are not limited to reviewing and investigating alerts; identifying suspicious activity; interpreting company’s policy and procedures pertaining to BSA compliance; keeping up to date on regulations and ensuring timely reporting of suspected activity. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Review incoming new business and consumer accounts for compliance with relevant laws and BSA related regulations. 2. Investigate referrals of potential suspicious account activity to determine and recommend appropriate resolution (e.g. completion of a SAR, exit relationship or continued monitoring). Analyze and decision BSA-related exceptions (e.g. CIP discrepancies, OFAC list matching, Transaction Monitoring Alerts). 3. Conduct all report submissions within the timelines and guidelines per regulatory requirements. 4. Analyze and respond to the most complex civil and criminal subpoenas and other regulatory and legal requests; interacting with law enforcement and external legal teams as necessary, occasionally may be required to appear in court. 5. Utilize internal and external applications to assist in the investigation and research of all BSA exceptions; proactively work to resolve existing BSA exceptions in a timely manner. Existing exceptions will be worked as an on-going project with specific deadlines. 6. As requested, may assist the BSA Senior Analyst with reviewing and analyzing moderate-to-high risk customer relationships. 7. Understand and comply with bank policy, laws, regulations, and the bank's BSA/AML Program, as applicable to your job duties. This includes but is not limited to; complete compliance training and adhere to internal procedures and controls; report any known violations of compliance policy, laws, or regulations and report any suspicious customer and/or account activity.Pay not disclosed will be discussed at time of interview.
