The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and issuing the parts and supplies used during preventative maintenance or everyday maintenance orders. The objective is to stock appropriate levels of supplies and process work orders as requested by the maintenance and engineering departments. Awareness of deadlines, asking key questions and the ability to find resources for required components are critical for this position.
+ Mark and identify parts and supplies using identification labels, tags, or barcodes as required
+ Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming parts, tools, and supplies to replenish inventory
+ Daily cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory levels for all critical parts
+ Inventory management of parts and supplies
+ Coordinate internal customer needs with special attention to emergency situations
+ Identify cost savings initiatives
+ Deliver parts, tools, equipment, or product to required departments via manually or using forklift
+ Assist where needed to reduce breakdowns
+ General housekeeping and adhere to 5S workplace organization
+ Accurately complete proper documentation
+ Inspect return parts, supplies, and tools to the parts crib prior to re-stocking to determine wear and tear or damage
+ Other tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Area Manager
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
+ 2+ years of Maintenance experience in a manufacturing plantEDUCATION
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
