PRIMARY PURPOSE:

As a Lead Bell Person, you will set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Assist guests with inquiries regarding local and surrounding areas

+ Book reservations and follow up with hotel patrons; check in/out hotel guests

+ View and issue available Express Comps for casino patrons

+ Enroll patrons in M Life and issue M Life card to new members

+ Clean and stock work area/transporting necessary supplies

+ Assist in maintaining in-house credit reports, housekeeping reports and special room assignments

+ Approve and post room charges

+ Balance clerk/cashier postings, cash, and credit transactions

+ Access patron information, using multiple systems at once

+ Issue safe deposit boxes

+ File registration cards, back up and all related hotel reports and documents

+ Perform other job-related duties as requested

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms

+ Basic knowledge of computer software to include Outlook, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as office equipment, i.e. telephone, copier, fax machine

+ Excellent organizational skills to function effectively under time constraints and within established deadlines, with particular attention to detail

+ Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to company standards

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ One (1) year of concierge/front desk experience

PREFERRED:

+ Bilingual

+ Supervisory experience
