RESPONSIBILITIES Bander operation: Aware of all Safety Requirements and safe operation of the banders and related equipment Sticker feeders, infeed rolls, Outfeed chains, outfeed rolls. Access electronic data and read e-mails as well as hard copies of pertinent information Demonstrate ability to look up CTQs (Critical to Quality) Demonstrate ability to produce QIRs (Quality incident reports) Interpret information contained on package line reports and follow their instructions Demonstrate ability to access the AMS program to enter defects removed @ the bander Perform Point of Origin Procedures (POOPS) checks and record these on the supplied check sheet @ prescribed intervals Demonstrate ability to measure the cut unit dimensions as well as square Verify unit piece counts and visually inspect unit for defects and they are stacked neat and straight Demonstrate ability to properly measure unit height using the decimal value of thickness and the # of pcs Demonstrate the ability to accurately enter and edit data to produce tickets All tickets must contain the assigned grade, Thickness, size, order #, Lot #, correct pc count, and bay location All tickets must contain the operator’s name Demonstrate the ability to accurately operate and read Micrometer and tape measure Accurately measure and record thicknesses of product as required per CTQs and POOPS Lift operation: Aware of all Safety Requirements and safe operation of the Lift and related equipment Access electronic data and read e-mails as well as hard copies of pertinent information Visually inspect each unit from the bander outfeed for defects paying close attention to the bottom of the unit. Demonstrate the ability to accurately inspect the lift truck prior to operation and fill out required PM, Demonstrate ability to accurately measure and top off all lubricants and fluid levels. Demonstrate ability to use air wand and blow down the lift @ start of shift and @ periodic intervals throughout shift. Demonstrate the ability to inspect the forks on the lift for burrs or any condition that may damage the product. Demonstrate the ability to properly fill out the mobile equipment inspection sheet. (required daily) Shift routine tasks: Locate orders in the finished warehouse. Load units neat and straight; making sure the stacks are stable and safe. Note: You should never stack wide wood on top of narrow wood for any reason. This creates an unstable stack. Make sure all straps are tight and in place. Organize the units you’re loading to maximize the available space. Understand the SAP system requirements
