Job Description

Texas A&M University – Texarkana is seeking outstanding candidates to fill adjunct faculty appointments for Summer and Fall of 2021. The need for education leadership adjuncts varies term-by-term dependent upon enrollment. Successful applicants hold a doctoral degree in an education-related field and have leadership experience applicable to up to two courses in educational leadership for courses in the superintendent program. Course assignments are based on applicant working and teaching experience and graduate hours in education leadership. Some experience with learning management systems (e.g. Blackboard) is required as well as experience using innovative research-based instructional strategies. Responsibilities include planning, delivery, and assessment of course instruction. Successful applicants are expected to hold face-to-face or online office hours, provide feedback to students in a timely manner and meet deadlines for certification, census, and grading.
