Headquartered out of Springfield, Missouri, Andy B’s Entertainment & Bowling Centers operates ten facilities across the Midwest. Andy B’s, the company’s entertainment center concept, consists of locations in Bartlett, TN; Tulsa, OK and Springfield, MO along with two new Andy B’s | Bowl Socials in Denton, TX and Branson, MO. The Mechanic is responsible for performing mechanical, electrical, and technical work related to the preventive repair and maintenance of bowling lanes, automatic pinsetters, scoring, amusement and other equipment. The Mechanic will perform a variety of mechanical, electrical, preventive maintenance and repair duties as required in the performance of duties and directed by the Facility Manager.
+ Adjust and repair automatic pinsetters and related bowling equipment. Maintains and repairs bowling lanes.
+ Performs general maintenance and repair duties as needed for the purposes of ongoing building care, upkeep, repair, and refurbishment.
+ Disassemble, replace, or repair mechanical and electrical components or parts such as motors, bearings, coils, and wiring.
+ Operate hand and power tools and general testing equipment.
+ Maintain on an ongoing basis throughout the shift, the cleanliness of the mechanic’s area and facility.
+ Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment; to work on fixed equipment.
+ Ability to manipulate heavy equipment, tools and supplies and/or exert force up to 250 pounds; to concurrently manipulate multiple controls on machinery and equipment.
+ Ability to work from ladders.
+ Performs other related duties as assigned
Job Requirements: What you’ll bring
+ 1-year mechanical experience preferred
+ Must be at least 17 years old
+ Some knowledge of bowling and amusement equipment is preferred.
+ Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships – Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time.
+ Must be available evenings and weekends
+ Dependability is a MUST.
+ Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
+ General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices.
+ Abide by company’s dress code policy.
