As a Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional at Humana, you will perform analysis of business, process and user needs, document those requirements, and create cost/benefit analysis and translation into proper system requirement specifications. The Senior Business Systems Analysis Professional work assignments involve complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple variables and discussion with multiple business and technology partners.

You will help devise an effective strategy for executing and delivering on IT business initiatives focused on Intelligent Search and Knowledge Management for both the Digital and Service Segments, using the latest technologies to create amazing, customer-focused products. In this role, you will directly work with key business stakeholders to define requirements to solve complex business problems and determine solution requirements by applying advanced process, technical and business knowledge. You will act as a trusted liaison and collaborate with the business and functional stakeholders to formulate and define systems and objectives based on both user needs and a good understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. You will devises or modify procedures and processes to solve complex problems considering technology capacity and limitations, cutting edge technical capabilities in Intelligent Search and Knowledge Management, and translate desired results into actionable requirements. You will also validate benefits achieved from solution implementation to ensure we are working on the highest value items and that the solution will provide those benefits. You will also influence the department’s strategy and make decisions on complex issues regarding technical approach for project components. You will operate in a largely self-directed arena, reporting to the Manager of Software Engineering.

Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree
+ 5 or more years of technical experience
+ Working knowledge of ad-hoc query tools and data repositories that support data extraction and manipulation
+ Knowledge of Systems Development Life Cycle
+ Experience in problem analysis and process
+ Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
+ MBA or other Advanced Degree
+ Six Sigma certification
+ PMP certification
+ Demonstrated experience with process documentation and re-engineering
+ Demonstrated experience with Intelligent Search and Knowledge Management capabilities
