Description
The Senior Release Management Engineer manage cross-organizational efforts required to introduce applications and infrastructure changes into the production environment. The Senior Release Management Engineer work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities
The Senior Release Management Engineer is responsible for ensuring all changes are delivered to user while maintaining the integrity and availability of the existing systems. Communicate release expectations across all impacted users. Begins to influence department’s strategy. Makes decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components, and work is performed without direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
+ 5 or more years of project and/or release management experience
+ Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) knowledge and practice
+ Superior organizational skills
+ Strong collaboration skills
+ Advanced written and verbal communication
+ Effective analytical skills
+ General PC knowledge including Microsoft Office (expert level knowledge of Excel a plus)
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with Azure DevOps to manage the release cycle
+ PMP
+ Prior management experience
+ SAFe or other agile certifications
+ ADX-201 Salesforce Certified Administrator
