Job Description
We are seeking BC/BE Internists interested in practicing as Hospitalists with the Internal Medicine Associates (IMA) – Hospitalist group. We are a large group practicing out of Baptist Health Medical Center which is the state’s leading healthcare delivery system. IMA is a thirty five physician group that practices at the Baptist Health hospitals in Little Rock, North Little Rock, Conway, Malvern, Heber Springs, and Arkadelphia. This recruitment opportunity is to join one of these locations. The Baptist Health facility offers state of the art technology including E-ICU’s and PDAs which sync with the hospital’s system putting information at the physician’s fingertips. In the hospital we maintain an excellent relationship with a full array of surgical and medical specialists who frequently call upon us for consults. Our Hospitalist group has an outstanding reputation within the medical community and is known for providing quality patient care. We have been selective in choosing the primary care physicians from whom we accept admissions. As a result, we have an excellent group of referring physicians consisting of both internal medicine and family practice. Over 80% of our admissions come from this select group of physicians.
