Description
Program offers a full one-year apprenticeship in Landscape Maintenance Technician. The training covers training in care of lawns, shrubs, tree, flowers, ground covers, and container plants. Seed and sod lawns, mulches, fertilizers, prunes, applies herbicides, fungicides and insecticides. Performs horticulture task to interior and exterior gardens and landscapes using machinery and hand tools. Cares for ornamental horticulture, and arborculture. Regulates, controls, repairs and maintains sprinkling and irrigation sydtems. May repair and maintain small engines.
