Instructional Program (CIP)
The Computer Information Systems Technology (CIS) program is designed to provide students with computer repair, networking, and programming skills that will prepare them for careers in today’s information technology (IT) field.
With an emphasis on industry-standard certifications, the CIS program provides an in-depth understanding of the skills employers are looking for in their IT staff. This program is not just classroom-based; instruction takes place in a hands-on laboratory environment that provides real-world experience in applying the skills valued by employers.
There are few courses that provide an opportunity to be taken online or in the evening hours and are primarily the general education portion of the degree only. Courses within the program/department are not generally offered in the evenings.
