We need a talented individual to fill the potential role of an IV&V Analyst in support of a state client in the Little Rock, Arkansas area. Some responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

+ Providing superior project support utilizing database knowledge, software testing skills, Waterfall, and Agile methodologies among others.

+ Assisting in completing all contract deliverables, including ongoing project status reports.

+ Collaborating with the project team including State Agency Project Team, Project Manager, the Implementation Contractor, and the Project Support Services Contractor.

+ Reviewing all software vendor deliverables (e.g. design specifications) for the assigned functional scope area for accuracy, completeness and correctness; confirming decisions from Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) meetings and previous deliverables are included and correct.

+ Identifying, analyzing, and documenting software defects; assisting developers in analyzing and resolving defects.

+ Reviewing quality control processes and identifying areas needing improvement.

+ Monitoring project activity related to any SDLC process assigned (e.g. data conversion), providing real-time observations as appropriate, and documenting issues/risks for the IV&V team based on industry standards and best practices.

+ Reporting to and taking direction from the Project Manager (PM).

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered.

+ Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in consulting projects.

+ Experience providing Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) services for enterprise IT applications.

+ Experience and knowledge of IT industry standards and best practices.

+ Experience with software testing and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

+ Risk Management and IT Governance experience.

+ Experience scheduling and moderating IT meetings and coordinating technology and staff resources.

+ Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.

+ Good organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Desired Qualifications:

+ Experience with State Government and Agencies.
